Welcome to the Writing Wednesday Blog!
For those of you who are unaware and may be new to the site and my writing, Writing Wednesday is my day where I do what I love to do… Write! Here on the blog, I talk about whatever fancies me with writing or what could be on my mind at the time. I do my best to write these as much as I can. However, I do have that “job I have to have”, which does not understand what Writing Wednesday is supposed to be about and does interfere. So, far this year I think I am doing better, but I will let you be the judge of that.
Today’s topic is on “Signing Saturdays”.
Now Signing Saturdays are like a Writing Wednesday. As the title would suggest I am signing my works instead of writing them. Makes sense, yes?
This year I have a whole host of Signing Saturdays, and a couple that don’t fall on a Saturday but are still signings. Today, I wanted to take the time to announce what my plans are for 2024.
Now at the present time, all my book signings scheduled this year will be at Charlin’s Book Nook. They are in the River Place Shops in my favorite city of Frankenmuth, Michigan. I have quite the following there thanks to my good friends Linda, Melisa, and Dave who own and run Charlin’s. They have been a great support to me as an author and to my work. They carry signed copies of my third book “Saint Nick” (Exclusive to them) as well as copies of my latest, “What Happened To The ‘Muth’?”.
All signing times are from 11am to 5pm and unless noted, all my books will be available for purchase and signing at each Signing Saturday Event. Depending upon the time of the year, certain titles will be featured more than others. So, without further ado, here is the schedule (subject to change) for 2024 so mark your calendars…
· Saturday, April 27 – Bavarian Experience Festival
· Saturday, May 11 – Mother’s Day Weekend
· Saturday, June 8 – Annual Bavarian Festival Signing
o Featured Book – “What Happened To The ‘Muth’?” 1 Year Anniversary
· Thursday, July 25 – Christmas In July
o Featured Book – “Saint Nick”
· Thursday, August 15 – Frankenmuth’s Founding Day
o Featured Books – “Saint Nick” & “What Happened To The ‘Muth’?”
o Please Note that at this signing these will be the only books because they are about or set in Frankenmuth.
· Saturday, September 21 – Oktoberfest
· Saturday, October 19 – Scare Crow Fest: Dog Weekend
o Featured Books – “The Seventh Year” & “The Demon Of Sweet Briar”
· Saturday, November 30 – Annual Small Business Saturday Signing
o Featured Book – “Saint Nick”
· Saturday, December 21 – The Weekend Before Christmas Signing
o Featured Book – “Saint Nick”
There you have it. Mark your calendars and make your plans to come out and see me at any or all these signing events. Your support is much appreciated.
